Terms of Agreement

This page explains how I work and what you can expect when using my services.
The aim is to keep things clear, fair, and stress-free for both of us.
By booking a service or purchasing a package, you agree to the terms below.

What I Do
I provide guidance, preparation, and explanation to help English-speaking expatriates navigate French administrative processes with more confidence.
My role is to help you understand requirements, prepare documents correctly, and clarify next steps. You remain responsible for submitting applications and communicating with French authorities unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.
Please note that administrative rules and requirements may change, sometimes without notice.

What I Don’t Do
To avoid any confusion, I don’t:
• Act as a legal representative
• Provide legal, tax, or financial advice
• Guarantee outcomes or processing times
• Submit applications on your behalf
Final decisions are always made by the relevant French administrations. While I take care to provide accurate and up-to-date guidance, I can’t be responsible for decisions, delays, or errors made by administrations or other third parties.

Packages & Scope
Each package includes only what is listed on the pricing page.
Requests outside that scope may be quoted separately, offered as an add-on, or declined if they fall outside my area of expertise.
Clear boundaries help ensure a smooth working relationship.

Troubleshooting Support
When unexpected problems arise (such as delays, refusals, missing files, or administrative errors), troubleshooting support is available separately.
• €120 per hour
• 1-hour minimum
• Additional time billed in 30-minute increments
• Any extra time is always discussed and agreed in advance
This service focuses on understanding the issue and identifying next steps — not legal disputes or appeals.

Communication & Calls
Support is provided via email and scheduled calls, according to the limits of your package.
In some cases, I may assist during a three-way call with a French administration. These calls are not included in standard packages and are arranged and priced in advance.

Translation & Language Support
I can provide informal translation and explanation of French administrative documents to help you understand their content.
Where certified translations are required, I can arrange translations through trusted sworn translators so your documents are accepted by French administrations.
Fees & Payment
All prices are communicated clearly before work begins.
Payment is required in advance unless otherwise agreed. There are no hidden fees.

Client Responsibilities
You’re responsible for providing accurate and complete information, submitting documents on time, and following deadlines set by administrations.
My guidance is based on the information you provide, and I can’t be responsible for issues arising from incomplete or incorrect information.

Respectful Communication
I aim to offer calm, supportive, and professional guidance, and I ask for the same in return. I reserve the right to pause or end services in cases of abusive or unreasonable behaviour.

Questions?
If anything here is unclear, please ask before booking — I’m always happy to explain.
